Wow. I haven’t blogged in a long time. I keep saying that I’ll do it but never get around to it. I’ll write this blog like it hasn’t been along time and I do it more regularly. I’m listening to heart of gold by Neil Young. I saw they had this song in the movie beautiful boy as he was driving on what looked like the pacific coastal highway, beautiful scene. Did my part time job today, had an audition this week, been hitting the gym and have been doing physical therapy for me knee, i had a basketball injury awhile back I’ve recovered pretty well the physical therapy is more about strengthening some small areas that’s still need it. I also did an open mic at this place called Genghis Cohen on Monday. It was a lottery draw and I got picked towards the end there weren’t that many people there at the time, the mic went pretty average. I did a mic at Bert’s back room on Friday that went great, you really never know what your walking into seems to be how it goes with these mics. I need write some new stuff, keep developing material, work on my writing and keep trying different venues. I’m also writing my own creative project on the side editing and continuing to work on that. There’s potential for a callback later in the week I felt good about the first audition, fingers crossed y’all. I’m working on cutting down consumption of alcohol and changing my diet some. So of course with my goal of only having three beers a week I’m proud to announce I have only had six so far this week :). Went to a trivia night Tuesday with a friend I play basketball with on the weekends. But my salad game is so strong right now it’s ridiculous. Just watched the newest episode of this is us, what a show. Alright that’s decent for a first blog in awhile, the dude abides.

Full Circle
Yo blog! wassup! I haven't been on here in awhile, it occurred to me I should maybe try to write something to you. I was in the middle of working on my computer at a Starbucks and a homeless dude came in and shouted at all the employees, that lasted about 10 seconds. I was braced to get up and help out just in case he got violent, which, is obviously a mistake. Anyway he left and I was like yup, Los Angeles is still pretty friggen weird. Anyway, I got to do some traveling home earlier this summer to see my family, saw them for about 2 weeks it was a blast. Got some good time with my aunt and uncles family and there dog in Sioux falls and I also got to meet up with my college friends in Sioux falls and then headed up to rush lake Minnesota to spend a week with my whole family, parents, grandparents, brothers, uncles, aunts, cousins, everybody was there, and then we had a week back in Sioux falls with all of my family that lives there. It was good times to be had by all. Did it all from knee boarding, to fishing, an outing to zorbaz, and also about 6 incredible home made meals every single night, even got my aunt to make her special Curry, one of my favorite dishes. Also had one of my best golf games and had a lot of fun Frisbee golfing as well. It was fun, and very refreshing change of pace from Los Ang. It feels good to be back as well, ive had somewhat productive days and attended a friends house warming party on Saturday, that was pretty damn fun, actually hung out with the same friend that I mention in my last blog, Ray Gray is the nickname I give her, anyway her new place is pretty dope and the party was a winner, lots of cool peeps there. Anyway, so as September approaches I'm hoping the auditions will ramp up a little bit and I'm trying to plug away and work on my own projects as well. Super cool news, my visa Olympic commercial I shot awhile back aired while I was home, heres a picture that some of my facebook friends where posting on my feed pretty cool. I feel very thankful that I got to be a part of the project. Oh and also I didn't get skunked this year at lake I caught a decent size northern, I still like fishing, it was fun to get out a few times I still find enjoyment in it, will have to find a way to fish out here. But this is probably a pretty good place to end the blog. I'll keep plugging away and keep you all updated, ill try to blog a little more than I have been, I enjoyed doing this one, until next time, the dude abides.

Blogging
So blog, its been awhile, how about an update. This last week or two I would say the theme of my weeks has been Bill Murray. I watched part of this interview where he talks about a wish that he has, and his wish is to become more here, more available, and not wanting to not have so much automatic response syndrome, but rather become his own channel in his body and his mind. I like the idea of this, I don't really know exactly what it means, I assume it means to become more focused perhaps, that doesn't nail it down but I think if I talked in full what that meant to me it would take forever. I'll link that part of the interview at the end of the blog if anyone is interested. The audition track has had its ups and downs like usual in terms of how many I get, not in terms of the outcome, what I've learned and have attempted to embrace is that outcome is not so important but rather just doing the best work you can in the moment is what is important. I sprained my ankle for the first time in my life about a week ago, right around my birthday, I'm 27 now woo hoo! I don't know if it was my first sprain but it was at least my first serious sprain, although I do suffer from trying to be a tough man syndrome so I wouldn't be surprised if I ignored an injury or two. It hasn't been all bad, makes you slow down, and focus on what's important, there's a positive in every situation. My friend Brad is visiting at the end of the month and I may have more visitors after that hasn't been nailed down yet. This last weekend I went out for a friends birthday, Rachel also known as Ray Gray, we went to Booty LA, it was costume night, and a super cool dance hall, which was also sort of a drag queen night/strip club, it was all sorts of cool haha. I went as Lenny Kravitz. I didn't get any pictures I guess I was to in the moment. It was good to update you blog, until next time.

Happy Easter
Happy Easter everybody! Kind of a random time to write a blog perhaps, but I have a lot on my mind and feel like writing. I don't know if I can put that writing into material right now so I'm going to try to blog it here. This years been good so far on the business side, pleased with a lot of the acting stuff that's going on in my life, I'm riding the waves and enjoying. Got my place nice and organized this week as well and aim to continue to keep it that way, may even try to declutter and get rid of a few things will see. I'm trying to put myself in a state and place where I can be as creative as I possibly can be. John Goodman was great in Cloverfield, the way he played that role, some of his facial expressions, the subtleties the fun in it man he was amazing. He is easily one of my top 5 favorite actors, there are so many actors I admire but I really respect him, I read some article on him that says he may be one of the best supporting actors of all time. I was listening to an old Howard Stern interview with him where he mentions when he used to audition he was actually better at cold reading then memorizing material. Anyway, I know there's not a lot to this blog but I will be checking in again sometime soon and will update with pictures of what I've been doing so far in 2016.

Getting After It
Alright blog, I haven't been here in awhile and it has occurred to me to blog. Well this week was awesome I got to work multiple days on great paying acting gigs. I got to work with some awesome people, I met about 6 or 7 people who are hustling just like me this week. It was awesome, and everyone indulged in my Seth Rogen impression. It was really interesting one of the girls I worked with was a dialect coach as well, I'm meeting people on these gigs that I have so much to learn from and more importantly just enjoy being around. Very fortunate and lucky to start off the year with 2 days of work on only like my 3rd or 4th audition so far. Now I'm hoping to kick off my theatrical side into gear, I got a callback to be a series regular on a pilot in the fall and feel confident about my ability to perform in the room and think I will eventually land something. On second day of shooting I met a guy who was also represented by KMR and he said hes been making a living off of commercial and film work for 20 years, he's originally from Oklahoma. My agents are rock stars. What else?...let me think.. well obviously dear lord every time your on set for the most part the food is just glorious, it will take a concerted effort in the gym and good eating to regain some of that back haha. But it will be an effort that is well worth it. I prefer to work my goal is to keep booking and pushing forward and creating my own opportunities and endeavors for myself. I've found a new actor to look up to, and that's Chris Pratt. He's got a cool story and has worked very hard to get where he is and his motto was basically just to stay incredibly positive and pursue opportunity even though he had very little. I got to be around him once in 2011 when I first moved out here, and he was very positive and talked to everyone around him and really hammed it up, I hope to be like that one day.

Christmas Brink
I am blogging on the brink of Christmas eve, I don't know if I'm in the state or if this is the proper time to blog, but I do know its been awhile, I still don't even really know who reads this, I just kind of am in the mood to blog its not that I have significant reason to, lets see how it goes. Where do I start, well I will visit my family soon that should be fun. Also I booked a job a couple weeks ago, and have been living in my new place and like it, I know I am being somewhat vague here..... I am listening to a interview while I write this, its a Howard Stern interview with Bill Murray, its interesting his relationship with the world around him and how he interacts within the business, he doesn't have an agent, a manger, a anything really, he just barely has a phone, its an interesting topic in a business in which a lot of the submissions, submissions is a poor example, but a lot of things in this business can be pursued digitally, you can promote on social media, so its very interesting how he basically doesn't use technology in his personal life at least, and at the same times it makes sense because he is an older fellow, it makes sense he wouldn't be so digitally inclined. I mean he got his whole career going before the internet existed basically. I am certainly not anti-technology, obviously I'm not because I'm writing this blog on the world wide web as we speak, but the idea of valuing your time and not getting sucked into every type of social media that is available is an admirable thing, and I really believe if I didn't think some of it was integral to my career I don't know that I would use it at nearly the same level. So anyway, I have been working on some of my friends projects and writing a little bit and doing some good paying gigs here and there. I'm thankful for all of it but what I'm really looking forward to is to whats next, whats ahead but whats now too. Excited to learn as I go. Its been fun being out here and going after what it is I really desired to go after in life, I feel lucky that I was even aware before I moved out here that this is what I wanted to do/pursue. Its fun theres a lot of great characters in my family, which is where I'm sure I got my acting bone from, I enjoy my connection with my family, love talking to my grandpa Al he is a cinema buff, a TV buff. My family and real good friends that are practically family are the people that have introduced me, showed me, and taught me about great cinema and great story telling. I'm gonna abruptly end this blog, ill be back as soon as I can, with hopefully valuable information.

Approaching
Well I haven't blogged for a minute so I thought update you on what's going on. I got a lot of thoughts in my head not sure what I'll write. I'm in a transitioning phase looking to move into my own studio, looking forward to having my own place. Had a lot of roommates and learned a lot over the last 4 years. A strengthening experience. This summer I worked a slew of random jobs, working at summer camp, selling candles, and some door man working. The auditions came at a decent rate I have no complaints I have great representation. Had a few call backs and avail for a big project and booked my first job with my theatrical agent, just auditioned for my first pilot in awhile the other day, things are looking up. And I'm also learning that it can't all be done in one day but with a concentrated effort over a period of time is where you find progress. Finally finished short film now just need to figure out how to market it or figure out who I will show it too. Also need to learn how to push forward with other stuff, I am saving up money for new head shots currently. I have put time in at the gym trying to get in shape I want before I take pics. My goals to get them taken sooner than later. Can't win it all in one day head shots and the big tools are important but I got to focus on the little things too. But in general, I am thankful for all the opportunities I've had and also for all the projects I've got to work on. I want to push forward and do a lot more with my career personally but I also realize how lucky you are when you simply get to work or are being paid for your acting. I hope to continue moving forward and work hard and continue to remember to be thankful for it all along the way. Time to keep busting my butt, hustling and making my own luck. I'm hoping to see SouthPaw soon and I joined my uncle Mikes fantasy football league, so far I'm thinking Marshawn Lynch for first pic of perhaps a Bear will see, until next time.

Why not?
Im not sure that Im feeling inspired but I do feel like blogging. Alright blog lets try and update you on whats going on. Welp, the inside of my room is clean, now just for the closet. I took a different path home from the gym this week, I checked out a library from a local arts store about some girl that struggling in her 20's, i dont know if its necessarily the book I want to read right now but it had a funny chapter or two I'll bring it back soon, I have also been reading a little bit of Matthew McCohnaugheys new book on himself and Barnes and Noble. I saw Mad Max a couple weeks ago, its pretty good, not a must see if super hero movies aren't your thing, but its good enough, fun enough, and has simple enough of a story i think for anyone thats a fan of movies to enjoy. I hear the new Spy Movie with Melissa McCarthy is really funny. Not that it is a revolutionary thing or anything but I am trying to write my blog a little different then usual, after saying that I realize I'm not sure how i usually right, but I think I get focused on what I need to do and acting and in this blog Im sort of trying to just, blog. I took a class a couple weeks ago, I guess you would probably call it a life coach class, and i dont know if we talked about this but I am thinking about the notion of doing the same thing over and over again without desired results or a certain kind of results is the defintion of insanity. I'm and I'm sure a whole lot of people including myself find themselves dulving in this trap from time to time, and so I may only be making small changes, but I'd like to think that I'm trying to make small adjustments and do things differently and stay open to possibility, I'd at least like to think that haha. I was reading up on the acting trades about this show called LA BEER, they shoot a web series in front of live audience, pretty cool idea. For quite awhile I cant remember how long now, I have had the song Why not by Hillary Duff stuck in my head, at times inspiring, at times annoying, what a strange song to have stuck in your head over a long period of time, cant say I've had an experience quite like it before. But anyway, I do feel like I am making at least small movements and progress with the acting, I would say at the very least I am still definetly hustling. I've pretty much developed an addiction to working out, I even had to think to myself and am trying to get myself to potentially take a day off, thats a big change from a couple years ago where I couldnt phathom going to the gym. I will still never post a hashtag tuesday or a hashtag no pain no gain, its just too douchey. I guess you could say that I am a man of extremes. I'm not really drinking at all right now, I have given myself permission to indulge in caffeinated beverages though, always coffee, and have found that coffee actually tastes incredibly delicious with protein. Its raining today, the weather is so nice out here generally, its always nice when it rains too, it feels like a huge climate change from sunny. Pretty much done with a couple of film projects Ive been working on with my buddy Jorge. We hit a dodger game a couple weeks ago saw a good pitching dual between Kershaw and Baumgarner. Well blog I'll leave you with this, do your best forget this rest, just keep on keepin on. Just keep livin, alright alirght alright.

Monday
Ok I dont know if i will actually post this blog but ill give it a shot, maybe itd be better to wait until the end of the week. So over the weekend i got a couple things done, room cleaning, laundry, went to church, got a couple of workouts in, did an open mic saturday, also bought a plane ticket so that I can attend my college buddy Brad Hartzlers wedding. It took me awhile to decide but now I'm going and i think itll be a fun time. I will be a groomsman, and there is a wedding party I'm looking forward to it and I know that it means a lot to him as well. Like I said in my last blog I have been attempting to keep my workouts steady and I would say that I have basically at least maintained where I'm at. I would like to get more serious about my workout approach this month, from this time to June 1rst specifically I'd like to be a little more hardcore ill let you know how this goes. I think last summer i got down to at least 203 lbs I'd like to get at least back in that range. I am also going to try and write more, at least take pen too paper and continue to come up with different ideas, Im working on an idea right now thats kind of funny to me i dont know if it will translate though haha. I did finish the hunger game book I thought it was a pretty good series, need to figure out what to read next, i still need to read my uncle mikes novel. Hopefully I can get that done this summer. Alright perhaps I've ran out of things to talk to or need to get goting, I will try and revisit this at weeks end.

Learning you are
Ok, so this may or may not be the best time to do a blog, I don't regally know let me update you on some things. I am reading the third hunger game book, I have less than 100 pages left. I will have to start digging into those movies at some point. I think I've seen the first two, but will re-watch them. Other than that I have been keeping up with my gym workouts. The weight loss goals have consisted of strikes and gutters, ups and downs, I'm trying to take a new approach that is less, result based or outcome oriented and more about consistency. Will see how that goes. I've done an open mic at the same coffee shop in Hollywood the last two weekends, I think I'm finding some good things in it, um, I am just doing it to do something first off, and am learning and also experimenting to see if it helps me with sketch writing. Let's see what else, I turn 26 Tuesday, holy cow. I'm not sure what else to write but here is a current train of thought for turning 26 or for living in LA for about 3 in a half years, however you want to look at it. Ok, so I guess my goal, or hope, is that I am able to evolve, personally and professionally, all facets of life, I plan on doing this by trying to put things into the proper perspective and also changing some of the patterns in my life. That may have been vague but that's what I'm running with. I don't even know if it's something that I can explain in a blog, I think it's something that may just become evident over time. I am still really learning, and that's ok, it's good in fact, my goal is to be open and willing to continue to learn and push forward. I guess some easy examples for learning venues would be taking classes, or hobbies, shooting projects, anything really I don't think it's necessarily limited, I think should figure out what some of these are and blog again soon, until next time.

Eye of the Tiger
So, it's probably too late to write this blog and I'm not sure if I have a lot to update you on but I figure I'll give it a try. This was not my best week overall all as far as motivation or productivity, not a bad one just not the best, the 5-7 week prior I got a little more done and used my hours better. Although did get some good filming done this week and had a few auditions that I did fine at. I'm pressing on ward, getting my taxes done, there are things I need to do this next week that hopefully can get done, I'm sort of organizing in my mind exactly what those things are. I'll have to journal but I think they drift from job hunting to really getting hungry and seeking that next acting gig, wherever that may be. I also need to look at health insurance. There's lots to do with planning and budgeting and action I need to take care of, I'll update you again soon on it all. I am still determined to press forward and fight for what it is I want. Until next time.

Milestone!
Welp, that only took about three and a half year but I am now officially part of SAG-AFTRA which is an acting union, I have been eligible for awhile but after so many bookings you must join. This last month I did a little acting work on my own and on paid gigs. I have been keeping up regularly with my working out, and also seeking other job opportunities. I have a job interview tomorrow so I shaved today, we will see how that goes. I have also read the first two hunger game books and just started the third one mocking jay. I also should be one more day of filming away from completing the short film that I wrote last summer and started filming about a month or two after coming back from vacation at the lake. I met a guy doing a print shoot named Jorge and we have become friends, he is shooting the short film, we went to Lebowski Fest last friday and that was a lot of fun. It'll be nice to finish the film we will throw it up on vimeo and I'll see if there are any short film fests I can send it too, probably put it on social media, and then time to move on too my next move and to continue auditioning. I am really happy with my commercial agents they really do a great job for me. I went to church today, met a nice guy named Johnny who dabbled in acting as well. I have been somewhat serious minded lots of working out, writing, a little shooting, auditioning, sending out postcards, headshots, looking for jobs ect. I'd like to push myself into some stand up or something of that nature again like the groundlings, I'll need to save for sure though and be smart and budget. But just be doing something thats fun and creative. And also look around a little bit at what this city has to offer, my goals and changing a little bit, but at the same time I want to ride this wave, I'm happy about certain parts of how I am doing, just need to keep pressing on. Saw two movies recently, the duff and focus, I thought they were both decent films, I liked the duff a little more than focus but probably because I had read the duff which was a book. I am working on turning my bed room into kind of a work space so I can hopefully be more organized and get stuff done in there. I had a paying job recently and the drill will be kind of the same as usual and that drill is that, that job is over, time to find the next one. Alrighty dont want to drag this blog out too long, I will update you again when I feel like there are new moves and improvements in what I am doing here, or if I just want to track where I currently am. Until next time, rest easy, blog.

Short Blog
So just last night I had a thought, a random one, and it was that yeah I'll blog eventually probably not soon. But a early Saturday morning workout at the gym and now finding myself at Starbucks with my coffee music and rocky music coming through my headphones and here I am. I figured Id update a little bit on the week and past week. So, I auditioned for groundlings, I passed am now eligible for taking there main track of classes.. I also had a small acting success this week that I will explain another time. I am keeping up with work out routine, I have given up alcoholic drinks.. I am trying to eat better but still falter from time to time. I've been hitting the courts a little bit. Colin and I filmed a scene for our short last week, I didn't like the original first scene so we redid it. Not much else to report. Short and sweet blog, figured id check in. Peace!

Lots of stuff
So I didn't really expect to blog tonight but I had a random thought and so, hey why not? It's late though so it'll be short. I've been waking up pretty early, I definitely prefer that it feels good. I just watched about half of goodwill hunting, I hadn't seen it in awhile. It still holds up, great film, acting, the soundtrack, it really was just perfectly made. I assume no movies perfect but it was just a wicked combo of everything coming together I think. A little surreal seeing Robin Williams in it too, a great actor, it would have been cool to have met him. Anyway, there was a scene in the film that reminded me of my theater teacher in college, she talked about it once and said they put it in their because they were young and it shouldn't have been in the film. It's the scene where Minnie Driver meets Wills friends, it mostly consists of dirty jokes, and when I was in school I didn't really agree but watching it now I think she may have been right, but it's hard to say for sure, but I do value her opinion on that I could see how it would have been tempting to put it in but maybe wise to leave it out. Anyway I avoid watching that film a lot because it is such a classic and I've seen it too many times, but sometimes you start not watching a film and then three years go by and it's fresh again, I actually have not watched the big lebowski in a long time. It's always good to watch a couple scenes from time to time as a refresher. I am trying to read more too sticking with my hunger game book, been staying in tune with the playoff Super Bowl noise. I am picking the Seahawks. As long as I can remember in Super Bowl history since I've been watching when a number 1 defense shows up it is usually a massacre, now I think this game will be close, but don't forget offense can win games, defense wins championships. I think that the Patriots are coming off a more impressive win but I also think Peyton Manning should have been the opponent in that game but his season just fell apart, Tom Brady seems to be holding up. I think it's all about whether the Seahawks defense can hang tough or not because the patriots can really score. I think it's about which one gets going first because as much as the patriots can score the Seahawks can become an offense when they get going. It's gonna be a chess match. Alrighty I'll predict a score, Seahawks win 31-25

Blooog
So this blog is pretty much coming out of the blue. Not sure what Im going to write, alright will just go for it. Today I am feeling pretty deflated, woke up at about 6:30 and got a good workout in, otherwise ive been submitting for acting jobs and actual jobs. I have been reading the hunger games almost done with part 1 of the 3 part first book. But I am feeling pretty deflated dont know if I'm in a great place right now, could just be from a lack of sleep and I'm sure this feeling will pass, so I'm going to attempt to focus on some positive things. Alright since I've been back I finally got out on some good auditions, havent heard back but at least had some good opportunities, in search of a part time job ive put upwards to 30 resumes out there and I did here back from a pretty nice restuarant and had an interview their last week, i think I would have already heard back, but a i still got a lot of resumes floating around out there and I'm going to punch even more out, filled one out at IHop today too. I really dont feel like blogging that much, Im more doing it to humor myself at this point, im sort of just a little wore out. Living situation, auditions being slow, everything but I cant really control those types of things as of now, just gotta keep pushing. I'm sure I will blog again soon.

Late blog
Just got home from reading at the book store by my place. Read a book on the business of acting, it was good, talking about sending out cards, networking, stay in touch with contacts, employees, always looking for next job, all that good stuff. A lot of this is similar to stuff I've read before but had a nice sort of fresh yet old school approach I think it may have been an older book or written by an older person about there start in the biz. I don't think I've blogged for awhile,. Today I attempted some writing and worked out, I'm trying to diet a little bit, I put on a little weight these last two months, so I'm trying to fight back a little, hopefully be hitting a weight I want by February during pilot season. Looking and feeling goods a big deal but I've got my work cut out for me, a lot of different things to accomplish besides the weight loss. These things entail potentially getting another part time job, also just staying hungry and looking for acting work, trying to get even future projects in the works. Also working on my website or even creating a new one, I'll see what I can add and do with the one I currently have, it's a good time to pull resources together. Also sending out a few postcards or taking a meeting. Also being proactive with things I mentioned but also being patient, do what you have to do to survive, making the best of each opportunity and make goals and take steps to try to make a living as a working actor. It's sort of on me, i really want to take responsibility for my career. This means I have to keep doing a number of things, auditioning, writing, studying, grooming, ect. I am going home for Christmas break, looking forward to it, intend to really enjoy that time and touch base with the family. And once it's done get back out here and get to work, come back maybe get rested for a day but then really get after it, make a plan push forward move ahead. I do hope to keep blogging and give updates, I don't know how often it will be, will see.

Unstuck
I'm thinking a short and sweet blog here. I have been writing lately, shooting a film a little, I have an audition tomorrow. I am trying to learn to think outside the box. My great grandpa turns 90 tomorrow and my cousin Alice 5. I still remember I bought the album Alice by Tom Waits after she was born. I haven't listened to a lot of waits lately but that's probably his best album. Tom Waits is an interesting cat he's made a living making music but he's also crossed over into the acting as well. He's even in the film fisher king with Williams and Bridges. He sort of plays some despicable or low life characters like the ones he sings about. I'm excited to see St.Vincent with Murray probably see that soon. I'm thinking about strategy, I think I may need an acting strategy. Will see how this short film comes out, I think it's just good practice at the very least. I do think I sort of need to re-focus and get focused. Which will take a lot hard work and just staying at it. A lot of things come to mind, I'll let you know how that part of this blog is going soon. Distractions are easy to come by, listening to your gut and intuition is not always easy, especially when it feels you have no control over the future. So I strive to live more in the present and challenge myself to stay on task, setting up necessary tasks for myself and eliminating distractions so that I really have a chance to be great, and am willing to be open to go out and fail , and succeed. There's so much I could write but it would be very long, and I won't write it all here, not because of the content, but the length. I'll keep on for a bit though. I listened to a Bill Murray interview on Stern it was pretty interesting, I dig the dude. I am sensing that time is becoming an issue, tick tock, I'd like to get organized in part is it's easy to let time go by, why not make the most of it and leave the rest in the hand of the creator. Life's too short is a thought/theme that ran through my head over the last month, interesting eh? Haha. I had a moment when I was on my way to the bank my mind had an interesting thought, I thought back to when I worked at the sandwhich shop, I accidentally dropped a cutting board in the sink while I was washing the dishes, it happened to be big enough to clog the sink, too guys came over and couldn't get it out, they said don't worry about it shit happens, that could've happened to anyone that's a huge board, they went to go get a special thing to get it out because they couldn't, by the time they got back I had figured out how to get it out, I got myself unstuck, they were amazed they said how did you do that. And for some reason it made me think you know what shit happens, things get stuck, sometimes you just have to improvise, that's life. Anyway I'll probably blog again soon, I'm gonna go see if I can get some laundry done, peace.

Sept
Hello. The thing I've learned about booking gigs moving forward ect is that you have to continue to hustle, you cannot be lazy you just have to keep steadily moving, doing things for your career each day. You can't really celebrate a victory or a booking too much, it's really cliche but it's so true that as an actor it's always about finding that next job, and in someway I think it will always be about what's next for quite a while. So when you book something, enjoy the experience, then move on accordingly. And sometimes finding the next job is just hustling and auditioning and literally doing your job. Because not everything's in your control, but you have to take care of what you can control. I'd like to go into more detail but I have to think about what that means even more myself, I have to have less excuses for not getting things done. Gotta create opportunities, network, class ect I'm still young and new to the game foots gotta kind of be on the gas, take some steps back to regroup though if needed. Here's another thing, and this might be a tricky thought, but no job, is bigger than any other job. I booked a gig not long ago that paid about 500 bucks, it was a great time, I had fun on the set, but I didn't blink an eye, I didn't even look for the commercial, I moved on, now that was smaller than some of my other stuff but when your trying to make a living artistically you gotta at least be able to maintain that mentality for awhile before you celebrate. Anywya, these are just my late night thoughts, I need to pick up the pace a little bit, not let anything intimidate me.

The Dude is not in
Hey blog how you doin? I don't have anything of incredible significance to report just felt like touching base, I was reading some of my earlier blogs kind of different day same story, but not because I went through other stuff in between. Right now just working on projects, submitting myself, hitting the gym, trying not to eat too much the usual. Trying to keep my place cleaner than usual not even sure why, we got a new roommate, just trying to get off on a good foot, he's a cool kid. You know it's a very low key night, kind of nice actually to be honest, having a beer, doing some journaling and listening to music, gonna make a list of things to do for tomorrow. Let's be Cops was a good film. Wish I had more too report blog, didn't want you to think I forgot about yeah. Until next time, the dude abides.

Back to the grind
Hey blogpost, it's been awhile. I'm back in LA, got here a couple weeks ago went to South Dakota for a little while it was a great time, spent a lot of great time with fam and friends. On the lake, man michael can really drive the speed boat, he might be better than uncle mike at it, certainly not better than me, just kidding. It was fun lots of great food and there's so many younger kids it really kept me on my toes, oh and a famous Dave's visit was the absolute best. Good seeing everyone, I could talk about how much fun it was all day. My golf game wasn't bad hung in there with everybody, Judy and Al look great, Don too, their hot tub still works too. It was a blast, my family has really assembled a great retreat there at shady grove. I miss everyone a great deal, but it was so nice to see them, and I know they are all rooting and are very supportive of me following my dreams. I can't stress enough how good famous Dave's was. Well I am now back in Los of Ang. I got an inn n out burger upon arrival. So what's happening here you ask, I was in a madden commercial that recently came out that was pretty cool. I had a beer commercial audition. I have been working out mostly at the gym, I played basketball today and I played very well against some pretty good players actually. This week I accomplished some things, I got my postcards ordered and sent them out to about 8 different casting directors, mostly ones id had call backs with or had just auditioned a few times for, it's called targeting as opposed to sending out mass mailings or postcards in this case. Today I did some self submissions, workin on my own project too. The Day Camp I worked at is over, I'm not sure if they loved me having a 2 week vacation haha. Anyway I'm kind of trying to figure out what's next I guess. Honestly, I'm not sure, I'll figure it out, should be getting a new roommate soon, sounds like he's a good guy. Other than that I'm workin on material I took a refresher commercial audition class, and audited a acting class, I was told I looked like Seth rogen there. Yeah so this is just a good time of the year to figure out what my goals are and how I'm going to continue to move forward. It's always a good time for that actually it's also a good time to look at my budget again and figure out how much money I would like to make and how much I can spend and what I need to save for and so forth. I'm not sure how to explain exactly where I'm at but I do think it is a half glass full situation where you wanna stay positive and looking up. I do believe hard work pays off, and so I plan to continue some of the things I've been doing, and I think good news will keep coming and good things will keep happening, it's time to get er done. Alrighty blog, until next time.
